My Best Guesses: Bowl Pickin'
As I start this picks column, Florida International has roared back to take the lead over Toldeo, 28-24, in the Little Caesar’s Bowl. In case you were wondering why I hadn’t posted bowl picks before this, the previous sentence gives you your answer. This has been a weird year.
Our Heisman frontrunner, by most accounts, is Cam Newton, a guy who is eligible to play football, despite the fact that his father solicited money for his commitment.

My Best Guesses: Week 14
So, this is just about it for the college football season. It seems like it goes by faster and faster each year. Three months in the blink of an eye. It’s championship week for most teams and the only game next week is Army v. Navy. Then, it’s on to the 30-odd bowls in just a few short weeks.
